Conversations, not dialogues

The Recursio podcast is two speakers talking through one everyday situation: a job interview, a doctor's appointment, a complaint about a cold coffee. Each episode is built around a set of phrases you would really use in that situation, and those phrases are listed on the page so you can see them written down after you have heard them.

The speed is natural but unhurried, and the vocabulary sits around B1. If an episode feels fast, that is normal — read the phrase list first, then listen, and the same sentences stop being a blur. The transcript on the page is the full episode, not a summary.

Several episodes are about mistakes rather than situations: word pairs learners mix up, preposition errors, sentences that sound rude in English without meaning to. Those pair especially well with the grammar guides linked under each transcript.
