saludar  ·  contar tu historia  ·  preguntar y cerrar

Nice to meet you. · Thank you for having me. · Thanks for taking the time to see me. · It's great to be here.

"Tell me about yourself"

I'm currently working as a… · I have three years of experience in… · I studied… at… · Right now I'm looking for a new challenge in…

Fíjate en la colocación: have experience in un campo, y three years of experience — no "experience of three years".

Fortalezas y debilidades

Fortalezas: One of my strengths is… · I'm good at… · I work well under pressure. · I'm a quick learner.
Debilidades: Something I'm working on is… · I used to struggle with…, but I've improved by… · I'm learning to delegate more.

I'm really interested in… · What attracts me to this role is… · I admire the way your team… · I'd love the chance to…

Do you have any questions?".

Pregunta: What does a typical day look like? · How would you describe the team? · What are the next steps?
Cierra: Thank you for your time. · It was great to meet you. · I look forward to hearing from you.

Errores frecuentes

"experience of five years". El orden natural es un número + years of experience.

I have experience of five years in sales.
I have five years of experience in sales.

"I'm interesting in this job".

I'm very interesting in this position.
I'm very interested in this position.

My weakness is that I'm disorganized.
Something I'm working on is staying organized — I've started using a task planner.

Ejercicio rápido

  1. Thank you for ___ me.
  2. I have three years ___ experience in marketing.
  3. I'm really ___ in this role. (interested / interesting)
  4. One of my ___ is problem-solving.

  4. strengths (one of my strengths is…)
  5. to (look forward to + -ing)
